Mission Australia

Mission Australia is a Christian community services organisation that has been helping people regain their independence for over 150 years. Our free and confidential services are available to families experiencing difficulties which may be impacting on their daily lives and ability to plan for the future. Through our various programs, we provide short term support to families and young people who are experiencing many different challenges. Support is provided via: Advice and referral Advocacy Parenting support and education Case management Home visits

Locally, Mission Australia has a number of different programs that outreach to the Narrandera, Leeton and Griffith areas. Child, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) is an early intervention program that assists families with children from birth to 12 years of age, and youth 12- 17 years old and their families. To be eligible for this program, one of the following vulnerabilities needs to be experienced: Lack of family or social support Parental learning difficulties Domestic violence Drug and alcohol problems Mental Health concerns To complete a referral for this program please contact the phone number provided.
